How Olla Balls Work
Due to them being completely buried underneath your plant we have found that not only do you save up to 89% of water in your garden, but your plants are rarely stressed due to them having constant water, on demand. They have shown to produce more fruit than traditional drip, hand-watering, or a sprinkler system. Another benefit is that due to you not needing to top water, you won’t have as many unwanted pests and bugs.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Olla Balls. They are low maintenance, easy to install “plug and play” water saving, and your plants will be healthier and produce more fruit.
The Olla Balls are fun and easy to install because all that you need is a bulb planting device (or a shovel) scoop out your dirt, place the olla ball in the hole and plant.
The amount of Olla Balls that can be fed from a single reservoir is vast. Traditional emitters are limited to water pressure.
Olla Balls will not over water or under water, because the moisture is always available on demand by the soil, and plant root system.
A leak is easy to spot, because the top soil will be wetter than normal.
Drain holes are not necessary in potted plants with the Olla Ball. This is because the moisture is suspended in the soil.
Olla balls can be used indoors with a floatless reservoir.
Olla balls are silent, whereas traditional irrigation methods are not.
No special tools are needed to install a typical Olla Ball system.
